Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 5 Nov 2026
1. About These Terms
1.1 Who we are. Crest Tours is a trading name of Salesfuze Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16325498. Our registered office is at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. In these terms, "Crest Tours", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Salesfuze Ltd trading as Crest Tours.
1.2 Your contract with us. Your contract with us is made up of these terms and conditions and any other written information we give you before we confirm your booking. "You" and "your" mean every person named on the booking. The person who makes the booking (the "lead contact") accepts these terms on behalf of everyone in the party and confirms they have authority to do so. References to "in writing" include email.
1.3 Accuracy of information. We take care to keep the prices and details on our website and in our printed materials accurate. Mistakes and changes can still happen, and we may correct them. Please check the latest price and tour details before you ask us to book. All tours depend on availability.
1.4 Your legal rights. Nothing in these terms is meant to override the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (the "2018 Regulations"), where they apply to your booking, or the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Your statutory rights are not affected. If your booking is a linked travel arrangement under the 2018 Regulations, please read Section 7.6 (Your Financial Protection).
1.5 Updates to these terms. We may revise these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be on our website. The version in force when we confirm your booking applies to that booking.
1.6 Contact us. Website: www.crest-tours.com · Email: info@crest-tours.com
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 How to book. You can book online at www.crest-tours.com or by emailing info@crest-tours.com.
2.2 Deposit. To secure a place on any Day Tour, Shore Excursion or Multi-Day Tour, you must pay a deposit of 25% of the tour price when you book. If you pay the full price at the time of booking, we treat 25% of that payment as your deposit. The deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances, except where we cancel or significantly change your tour (see Section 4).
2.3 Balance. The remaining balance is due no later than 28 days before your tour departs, unless we tell you otherwise in writing.
2.4 When your booking is confirmed. Your booking is only confirmed, and a binding contract formed, once we have received your deposit and sent you a booking confirmation. Until then, we cannot hold a place for you, and we are not responsible if the tour sells out or becomes unavailable.
3. Accommodation and Third-Party Services
3.1 What the tour price covers. Accommodation is not included in the tour price unless the tour description says so.
3.2 Booking accommodation for you. We can arrange accommodation for you on request and will aim to find options within the budget you give us. If nothing suitable is available in that range, we will talk to you before booking an alternative. Extra costs such as single supplements, child rates or special requests depend on each provider's own policy, so please ask about them when you enquire.
3.3 Our role as intermediary. When we book accommodation or other third-party services for you, we act only as your booking agent. Your contract for those services is directly with the provider and is subject to their terms. Unless we tell you otherwise, you pay the provider directly.
3.4 Supplier cancellation charges. If you cancel accommodation or other services we have booked for you, the provider may charge you on top of our own cancellation charges. This is usually one night's cost per property booked. If you cancel within 72 hours of the tour departure, you may be charged the full accommodation cost. These charges are payable to us so that we can pass them on to the provider. Email info@crest-tours.com for the supplier charges that apply to your booking.
4. Changes and Cancellations by Us
4.1 Minor changes. We plan every tour carefully, but we may sometimes need to adjust the itinerary, vehicle or accommodation. Most changes are small. Where accommodation changes, we will provide a similar standard wherever we can, and we will tell you about any change as early as possible.
4.2 Significant changes. If we have to make a significant change to a key part of your tour, we will tell you promptly and you may choose to:
-
accept an alternative tour of the same or higher standard, if we can offer one;
-
accept a lower-standard tour, if we can offer one, and receive a refund of the price difference; or
-
cancel and receive a full refund of everything you have paid.
-
4.3 Timings. Travel is affected by weather, traffic and road conditions, so departure and arrival times at any point on the itinerary are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
4.4 If we cancel. We will only cancel a tour because of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances beyond our control, or where going ahead could put your safety at risk. If we cancel, we will let you know as soon as possible and refund everything you have paid in full.
5. Changes and Cancellations by You
5.1 Changing your booking. To change a confirmed booking, the lead contact should tell us in writing as soon as possible. We will try to help but cannot guarantee every change. If we can make the change, we may charge an administration fee (we will tell you the amount when you ask) plus any extra costs we or our suppliers incur. If we cannot make the change and you decide not to travel on the original booking, we will treat this as a cancellation and the charges in Section 5.4 will apply.
5.2 Transferring your place. If you cannot travel, you may pass your booking to another person who meets all the booking conditions, as long as:
-
you tell us in writing at least 14 days before departure;
-
you pay our administration fee for each person transferred (we will confirm the amount when you ask);
-
you or the new traveller pay any extra costs charged by us or our suppliers; and
-
the new traveller agrees to these terms.
No change or transfer is confirmed until all the charges above have been paid.
5.3 How to cancel. To cancel after we have confirmed your booking, tell us in writing. Your cancellation takes effect on the day we receive your notice.
5.4 Cancellation charges. The same charges apply to all Day Tours, Shore Excursions and Multi-Day Tours, based on when we receive your notice.
Notice received and what you get back:
i. 30 days or more before departure - Everything you have paid except the 25% deposit
ii. Less than 30 days before departure, or no-show - No refund
The 25% deposit is never refundable when you cancel. We do not give refunds for any part of a tour you choose not to use, or if you leave a tour after it has started.
5.5 Shore Excursions and cruise delays. If your ship cannot dock, or is delayed so that you cannot join your tour, you will receive a full refund as long as you tell us before the tour's departure time and send us confirmation of the ship's status from the cruise line or port authority. Our Shore Excursions are planned to return you to port in good time. However, if your return is delayed by events such as bad weather or traffic, we are not responsible for any costs arising from a missed sailing.
6. Before and During Your Tour
6.1 Travel documents and missed departures. You are responsible for having valid passports, visas and any other documents you need, and for being at the agreed pick-up point on time. If you miss the departure, we will treat it as a cancellation by you. We cannot refund missed departures or unused services, or cover any resulting costs.
6.2 Our right to refuse travel. We may refuse to carry anyone whose behaviour is likely to offend or upset our staff, or who has symptoms of an illness likely to affect the health of others. Please make sure you are fit to travel on the day. If we refuse travel for either reason, full cancellation charges apply, and we have no further liability to that person or their travelling companions.
6.3 Special requests. Please tell us about any special requests when you book. We will do our best to meet them and will pass them to your accommodation providers where relevant, but we cannot guarantee them. Not meeting a special request does not mean we have broken our contract with you. Some providers may charge extra for certain requests, payable locally. We cannot accept a booking on the condition that a special request is met.
6.4 Disabilities and medical conditions. Some of our tours may not be suitable for everyone. If anyone in your party has a disability or medical condition that could affect their ability to take part, please give us full details when you enquire so that we can advise whether the tour is right for you. If, acting reasonably, we cannot meet those needs, we will not confirm the booking. If we were not told when you booked, we may cancel the booking and apply the usual cancellation charges, and we are not responsible for any resulting cost or inconvenience.
6.5 Luggage. For safety reasons, our vehicles must stay within legal weight limits. Unless we agree otherwise in advance, each passenger may bring:
Luggage allowance
i. Day Tours and Shore Excursions - One small bag (such as a rucksack) up to 15kg
ii. Multi-Day Tours - One main bag up to 23kg, plus one small bag up to 15kg
If you need more, please tell us when you book and we will try to help. We may refuse to carry luggage over these limits, and may refuse travel to anyone who has not arranged storage for excess bags. We carry luggage free of charge but at your own risk. Your bags should be sturdy and waterproof, and you must be able to lift them yourself, including to and from your accommodation.
6.6 Smoking. Smoking and vaping are not allowed in our vehicles. We make regular stops along the way.
7. Liability, Suppliers and Protection
7.1 Independent suppliers. Many parts of your trip are provided by independent suppliers under their own terms. Tickets with other transport operators are subject to that operator's conditions of carriage. We may share your personal details with these suppliers where needed to deliver your services, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Who we are responsible for. We are not liable for the acts or omissions, negligent or otherwise, of any supplier unless that person is our employee or under our direct control. We use reasonable skill and care to check the information suppliers give us, but each supplier remains responsible for the accuracy of its own information. This does not affect any rights you have under the 2018 Regulations, where they apply.
7.3 Limit on our liability. If we are found liable to compensate you, our total liability for all claims is limited to twice the price you paid us for your booking. This limit does not apply to claims for death or personal injury, fraud or negligence, or to any other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded. Please tell us about any possible claim as soon as you can.
7.4 Losses we are not responsible for. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for indirect losses. We are also not liable for any loss, cost, damage or claim to the extent it is caused by:
-
anything you do or fail to do;
-
a third party unconnected with the services you booked, where the cause was unforeseeable or unavoidable;
-
unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our or our suppliers' control, whose effects could not have been avoided even with all due care; or
-
an event that we or our suppliers could not have foreseen or prevented, even with all due care.
-
We are not responsible for any travel arrangements you buy separately from us.
7.5 Events outside our control (force majeure). Unless these terms say otherwise, we are not liable if we, or a supplier, cannot meet our obligations because of an event beyond our or their control. Examples include war or the threat of war, terrorism or its threat, riots or civil unrest, action by government or public authorities, industrial action, fire, explosion, building collapse or accidents, traffic, road conditions or road closures, mechanical or technical failure, severe weather, natural disasters, and similar events.
7.6 Your financial protection. If you book one travel service with us and, after paying for it, book further travel services for the same trip through us, you will NOT have the rights that apply to packages under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. This means we are not responsible for the proper performance of those additional services. If something goes wrong with them, please contact the relevant provider.
7.7 Travel insurance. We strongly recommend that every traveller takes out comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment and medical emergencies for the whole of their tour.
8. Complaints
8.1 During your tour. We value feedback about our own service and about the suppliers we work with. If something is wrong during your tour, please tell your driver or guide straight away so we can try to put it right. Raise any issue with your accommodation directly with the accommodation provider first.
8.2 After your tour. If a problem was not resolved on the spot, email info@crest-tours.com with full details. Please contact us within 28 days of your tour ending, as later complaints can be harder for us to investigate properly.
9. Your Personal Data
9.1 How we use your information. We handle your personal data in line with data protection law. We use the details you give us, such as your name, contact details and any special requirements, to process your booking and run your tour. If you have agreed, we may also contact you about our tours and offers.
9.2 Sharing your information. We share your details only with third parties involved in providing or arranging your booking, such as accommodation providers and other suppliers, and only where appropriate safeguards are in place. Our Privacy and Cookies Policy on our website explains this in more detail.
10. Photography and Website Content
10.1 Photos and video on tour. You agree that we may use photographs and video of you taken during the tour to advertise and promote Crest Tours in any medium.
10.2 Content from other users. Our websites may include material posted by other users, such as comments and photos. We have not checked or approved this material, and it does not reflect our views. To report it, email info@crest-tours.com.
10.3 Content standards. Anything you post or upload to our websites, or send through any interactive feature on them, must be accurate if it states facts, genuinely held if it states opinions, and lawful in the UK and wherever it is posted from. It must not:
-
be defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
-
promote sexually explicit material, violence or illegal activity;
-
promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
-
infringe anyone's intellectual property rights;
-
be likely to deceive, or misrepresent who you are or who you are connected with;
-
threaten, abuse, harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy anyone, or invade their privacy; or
-
suggest that it comes from us when it does not.
You promise that your content meets these standards, and you will compensate us for any loss or damage we suffer if it does not.
10.4 Licence to use your content. Testimonials, photos and other content you give us are treated as non-confidential unless you tell us otherwise in writing at info@crest-tours.com. You keep ownership of your content, but you give us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, store, copy, reproduce, distribute and display it, and to make it available to others, for any reasonable purpose, including marketing and publicity.
10.5 Our rights over posted content. We may disclose your identity to anyone who claims your content infringes their intellectual property or privacy rights. We may remove anything that, in our opinion, breaks our content standards, and we may limit how much you can upload. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your content. You must not introduce viruses, and we are not responsible for them.
10.6 Links to other websites. Links on our websites to third-party sites are for information only and do not mean we endorse those sites or their content. You may not link to our websites without our written permission.
11. Promotional Codes
We, or third parties on our behalf, may issue promotional codes giving a discount on certain tours. Each code is valid only for the dates, tours and departure points stated, and may apply only to bookings made directly with us online or by phone. Codes cannot be exchanged for cash, do not apply to attractions or accommodation, cannot be combined with any other offer, and may be withdrawn by us at any time. All tours remain subject to availability. Unless stated otherwise, a winter promotional code is valid on all Day Tours departing between 1 October and 28 February of that season.
12. General
12.1 Severability. If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest of these terms will still apply.
12.2 Governing law. As far as the law allows, these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled only by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, you may choose to use the law and courts of your home country. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections you have under the law of the country where you live.
12.3 Getting in touch. For any question about these terms, email info@crest-tours.com or visit www.crest-tours.com.
